Walking, cycling and horse riding
As soon as you step out the door, you’re right in the UNESCO Maasheggen area, walking alongside the Oeffelt streams, stopping for a break at ‘t Veerhuis, and then heading back home via De Vilt. You can choose your own mix of nature and culture around Tongelaar Castle, the Sint Anthonis State Forests, the Reichswald, the Nijmegen hills, the fens… there are so many must-see spots and lovely walking trails throughout the Land van Cuijk and the surrounding area! Cuijk station is 7 kilometres away, and the train will take you to Nijmegen or Boxmeer in 10 minutes, or you can walk to picturesque Gennep. Back in Oeffelt in the evening, you’ll be away from the hustle and bustle and can enjoy the peace and space.
